2015's best raptor-based buddy flick Jurassic World was missing one key element that made Jurassic Park so special — Jeff Goldblum bein' all Jeff Goldblum-y. And while we've known for a minute that Goldblum's character Dr. Ian Malcolm will be returning in this summer's Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, we found out today that any time we missed out with the 'Blum will be made up for in triplicate, because in the upcoming video game Jurassic World: Evolution, Jeff Goldblum will not leave you the f*ck alone.
Check out the announcement video, which features Jeff Goldblum bein' weird, as he is wont to do:
Goldblum says in the trailer he'll "be with you the whole game", which is, like, a lot. I don't know that I want to spend that much time with anyone, let alone Jeff Goldblum. He strikes me as the kind of guy who gets one drink in him at a barbecue and can't stop shimmying.
Jurassic Park: Evolution is scheduled for this summer and will be released on PC, Playstation 4, and Xbox One. It's being made by Frontier Developments, who previously did Planet Coaster, where you build a theme park presumably without dinosaurs. Thank god Frontier is rectifying that oversight — while developing Planet Coaster, I'm guessing they were so preoccupied with whether or not they should, they didn’t stop to think if they could.
